Modogo is for the ones who train hard, think harder, and care deeply — about their dogs, their gear, and the craft.
I’m Paula — trainer, competitor, gear nerd, and CEO. This shop started because I couldn’t find equipment I loved. Not just gear that worked — but gear that fit, gear that lasted, and gear that felt as good in your hand as it looked on your dog.
My journey began back in 2013 in pet retail, where I fell headfirst into a fascination with dog nutrition and high-performance canine products. In 2015, I started working professionally in dog training and behaviour — and by 2021, I was deep in the world of working and sport dogs with my own doberman puppy, Tony, at my side. That’s when the vision for Modogo really took shape.
I wanted a space where serious trainers, handlers, sport competitors, and working dog owners — especially women — could find gear that delivered power, beauty, and performance. No compromises. No copy-paste designs. No gatekeeping.
Then the dream got bigger.
After years of obsessing over canine nutrition, I launched Canisense — my own line of super premium dog food. It was a full-circle moment: something I’d envisioned for years, finally brought to life with purpose and passion.
And then came our own line of Modogo bitework gear and tugs — fine-tuned, field-tested, and manufactured exactly how I imagined. Every detail, from the stitching to the colour palette, came from real-world training needs and direct feedback from customers like you. These aren’t just products. They’re proof that when the community speaks, I listen.
Every item in this store is obsessively curated — chosen for its durability, performance, and design. I test most of it myself, and work closely with manufacturers, customers, and trainers to evolve what we carry. This isn’t just a storefront. It’s a living, breathing part of the dog sport community.
What really fuels me? Seeing that spark in your eyes when a new piece of gear arrives. Watching videos of you and your dog working in sync. Hearing that something you got from us changed your training for the better. That’s what Modogo is built on — not just strong gear, but stronger connections.
